Book swap/Donation
IntelliScanner presentation by Annette
Annette will call the company and ask our questions 1/5/10: Just was able to connect with Byron at Apparent Corp. about the Intelliscanner Mini.
Here
are the answers to our questions: 1. Would the software work if we used
it through the server? No- it operates locally on a machine. 2. Can we
have the software/"dashboard" installed on more than one computer? Yes,
we could be an additional site license for approx. $40. 3. Are we able
to import an Excel spreadsheet that has already been created for an
inventory? Yes, the original Excel spreadsheet needs to be saved as a
Tab-Delimited file (one of the choices when you "save as") then when the
Intelliscanner dashboard is open, choose File, import Tab-Delimited
file. He also could talk someone through how to match a list of barcodes
to the books that are in the spreadsheet/database that has already been
created. 4. Could we get a discounted price on multiple scanners? Yes,
he would give us an educational discount and if we would buy 4-5 of them
(as one order, not separate, either by P.O. or credit card), the
discount would be 20%. I told him that Kate Drugan would be the person
to contact him about placing an order (lucky you Kate!) and he said that
if you want a quote or need other info. in writing, if you e-mail
info@intelliscanner.com, it goes straight to him. Their phone # is
1-800-550-5470.
Kate & Julie will take the Rigby Reading Levels Chart and print in color and blow them up poster-size for each building's bookrooms
Buy IntelliScanner for 4 buildings (not Tremont)
Choice LIteracy - site license, or individual license for bookroom coordinators
